While they are commemorating their many years at the current venue, the seeds of this show were actually planted in the mid-1800s when the Chelsea’s forebear, the Royal Horticulture Society’s Great Spring Show, was first put on in Kensington.

From humble beginnings, the Chelsea Flower Show in London has grown into one of the world’s largest and certainly most popular horticulture exhibitions featuring international exhibitors from Sweden, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Trinidad, Zimbabwe, and many more.
